Established in 1939, Wisconsin Community Papers (WCP), now 76 years old, is one of the oldest free community paper associations in the country and a leader in the industry.
Our mission is “to be a resource for our members to enable them to be successful now and in the future.” As that resource, we provide education and training to give our members a marketing edge. We also serve as a contact point for business and legal matters impacting the industry.
In line with our mission, WCP promotes Wisconsin’s community papers and the free community paper industry as a valuable marketing tool for clients statewide and nationally. We provide a platform for networking and idea exchange, helping member publications compete successfully in their markets.
We promote ethical business practices through a Code of Ethics and ensure credibility through statewide audits by the Circulation Verification Council. Building and maintaining reader trust is essential to our success.
